Fresh from the success of his debut EP, I Want You, X Factor & I'm A Celebrity alum Jake Quickenden returns with a brand new song that will set your summer to scorching - Feel My Love. Jake has proved that he's a versatile vocalist who can breathe life and passion into which ever genre he tackles, and he ably adapts his expressive voice to the Balearic beats and scintillating rhythms of his latest venture. Surrounding himself in icy cool grooves, tantalising EDM electro-flourishes and deeply satisfying instrumentals that really allow the music to breathe (and let you wave your hands to the sky in ecstatic, joyous release), Jake sings of how he's seizing the opportunity to show his paramour the true depth of his feelings. It works, not only because his resonant tones steer the medley like a captain guiding a ship, but also because music and vocal coalesce to infuse vibrant life into the lyrics. Summer nights (the ones that inspired a whole Grease song, don'cha know) are fueled by the balmy temperatures that make us throw inhibition to the wind, and believe that anything is possible. Good pop songs will represent this in their narrative; great pop songs will ensure it's part of every nuanced second of the production - which is exactly what Jake and the team have achieved here.
