- Will Young in Cabaret ~ Coming right off the back of the critically acclaimed Echoes album (his latest single from it - I Don't Want A Lover - is heaven), Will is taking the role of Emcee in the latest revival of the musical Cabaret. Which means we get to hear him sing songs like Wilkommen and Money Money. How thrillybots. It's premiering in the West End from October I believe and may well end up as the best stage version since Deborah Gibson lit up Broadway as Sally Bowles in the 90s. There's a preview run in Manchester at the end of September that I absolutely cannot miss :)

Theatrical Thursday ~ Pop Idol Alumni
A sprinkling of the West End (and off off West End) coming at you from sunny Gran Canaria as I flick through the pages of the latest Entertainment Weekly :D Who would have thought that ten years after Pop Idol finished, both William of the Young and Gareth de la Gates would be lighting up stages across the UK. ReplyDeleteMore of a Gareth fan, love all his 3 album too, cant wait for his next one. He is writing new songs when he has time. I also saw him in Les Mis as Marius, he was fantastic. :)
Great blog.
Great blog. Gareth Gates is proving to be a very good actor. I saw him in both Joseph and Les Mis. He was fantastic in both. Now looking forward to seeing him in Loserville which is mostly acting and much less singing I understand.
