Måns Zelmerlöw - Glorious

It has been quite the year for The Zelm, as absolutely no-one is calling Mans Zelmerlow. Fresh from his triumphant gig hosting Eurovision, his Perfectly Damaged album campaign was reinvigorated with a new single Fire In The Rain. This was followed by the shimmering bliss of Hanging Onto Nothing - the first peek into his next album, Chameleon. Both songs demonstrated what an expressive, effusive performer Mans is - talents on ample display on his latest single, Glorious. The song opens with seemingly dark, forboding plucked guitar that is the perfect back drop for Mans' intense singing. The music is gradually textured with a propulsive beat and radiant electro effects that are the perfect representation of the struggle from shadows to light when winning someone's love. It reaches crescendo point in the chorus where Mans sings with euphoric optimism and hope, his voice given prominence to raise anticipation for the inevitable, all consuming and magnificent dance drop that elevates the song to frenzied fever pitch of heaven sent joy. You are compelled to race to the dancefloor, raise your hands to the sky and get your groove on in emphatic testimony of the ravishing music washing over you. Mans gives a master class in how to work in symbiotic harmony with the music to accentuate the narrative of the lyrics. Wonderfully done, this should have you galloping to immerse yourself in Chameleon, stat!
